There are plenty of excellent eating spots on the island and your hosts will be happy to arrange transport for you - even though just about everywhere on Lord Howe Island is within walking distance from Milky Way.
Our guests are welcome to use our garden barbeques while you'll also find that other barbeque facilities are located at various spots around the island.
Your hosts can also arrange fishing trips, glass-bottom boat excursions, around-the-island cruises, nature walks and guided hikes.
Or just walk yourself - the views, flora and fauna are breath-taking.
And snorkelling at Old Settlement Beach can be very rewarding as you are likely to find yourself in company with some magnificent green turtles.
Snorkelling is also a wonderful experience at Ned's Beach where you can swim amongst thousands of fish - all eager to be hand-fed.
For the sports-minded, Lord Howe boasts a challenging golf course, bowling club and tennis facilities.
